Listen to Kurt Cobain AI ‘cover’ Popular Rock Songs | I Love Classic Rock Videos

The music that the late musician Kurt Cobain might have created had he lived has been the subject of speculation among Nirvana fans ever since his death in 1994. In addition, advances in AI are dominating society because of the widespread use of platforms like TikTok, where users can easily compose and share original music, videos, and written content. Using AI to make popular singers perform irrelevant songs is one of the most amusing recent fads. Some musicians might be offended by this, while others, like Grimes, have actively encouraged fans to sample and repurpose her music. And so, this is where fans of Cobain made everything possible: took Cobain’s voice out and used it to “cover” several popular rock songs of today.

Now fans have taken it to the next level by artificially bringing Kurt Cobain to life to sing three rock songs, “Black Hole Sun” by Sound Garden, “Creep” by Radiohead, and “Everlong” by Foo Fighters. Kurt’s trademark raspy, grungy voice is perfectly captured in these cover versions.

We know Kurt Cobain is dead, but other than that, there isn’t a thing about the covers that make us doubt their accuracy. Since the voice of a person who has passed away is rarely heard in new ways, fans are understandably moved by this. As they continue to investigate the apparently endless potential of AI, they will definitely be looking forward to more AI-generated covers from the late singer.
