Is This What We’ve Been Waiting For!?!

I can’t necessarily put myself in the shoes of Robert Plant, Jimmy Page or John Paul Jones, but I can only imagine that they simply can’t go anywhere without someone inevitably asking them if the band is going to get back together for an album or a tour. As you can probably guess, this has been the case forever, and it seems like it’s just unescapable.

What’s even more is that during interviews, fans and critics will analyze everything that any of them say and try to see if they can find signs pointing to a reunion in what they said. Yes, it’s that extreme. However, this time Jimmy Page seems to be ACTUALLY teasing something and it’s sending us fans into a frenzy.

During a recent interview with Mark Goodman on SiriusXM, Jimmy didn’t necessarily tease anything new from Led Zeppelin, but he did state that “stuff” was coming from Jimmy Page in 2019. In fact, here is what he said verbatim…

“Yes, you’ll definitely be getting stuff from Jimmy Page. I can guarantee that…”

WASHINGTON – DECEMBER 2: THE 35TH ANNUAL KENNEDY CENTER HONORS–Bluesman Buddy Guy, actor Dustin Hoffman, comedian and television host David Letterman, ballerina Natalia Makarova and rock band Led Zeppelin will receive honors for 2012 on THE 35TH ANNUAL KENNEDY CENTER HONORS, to be broadcast Wednesday, Dec. 26 (9:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. For a couple of years now, Jimmy has regularly expressed his eagerness to make new music and get back out on the road. In my opinion, this definitely seems like what it’s going to be. Despite Led Zeppelin technically not being together anymore, Jimmy is SURELY not done making music.

But here’s the thing, though I don’t want to put myself in the category of people who only pine for a Led Zeppelin reunion, Jimmy is still making music, Robert is still making music, John Paul Jones is still making music, hell even Jason Bonham is still making music, so it still begs the question, what’s stopping them from getting back together?
