‘Tis the season to be jolly, but does that mean forgoing our favorite rock tunes for the Yuletide season? These homeowners know better, though, incorporating rock music with their Christmas displays, customizing their lighting patterns to go with every thumping beat and searing riffs. Here are some of the most impressive light shows by solid rock n’ roll fans embodying the holiday spirit.

AC/DC – “For Those About To Rock”

This homeowner called to the Aussie rock gods and the mind-blowing riff anthem, “For Those About To Rock” from their 1981 studio album of the same name.

Queen – “We Will Rock You”

Queen takes the lead with this second light show entry, joining the fray with the classic arena rock entry, “We Will Rock You”.

Metallica – “Enter Sandman”

One homeowner goes heavy metal, with Metallica’s “Enter Sandman”. The brooding atmosphere of the song contrasts the jovial light display, but to each their own, right?

KISS – “Rock N’ Roll All Night”

Not sure if it’s just to spite KISS haters or if the homeowner is a legitimate fan, but this lights display has the classic singalong rocker “Rock N’ Roll All Night” on repeat.

Slayer – “Raining Blood”

Just as the legendary thrash metal band ended their run in the industry just a week ago, we are greeted by this homeowner’s Slayer homage with the addictive “Raining Blood” blasting from the speakers.

AC/DC – “Thunderstruck”

The arpeggio-blasting classic from AC/DC is curiously mashed up with the traditional Yuletide tune of “Good King Wenceslas”. Trippy combination, but enjoyable nonetheless.
