A list of people who have been confirmed dead after a tragic plane crash occurred in Washington, D.C. on January 29, 2025.

Late Wednesday night, tragedy struck near Washington, D.C., when an American Airlines passenger jet collided with a U.S. Army Black Hawk helicopter just before reaching the runway at Reagan Washington National Airport. This catastrophic event claimed the lives of everyone on board both aircraft, prompting a significant search and recovery effort in the Potomac River, where the wreckage was found.
