David Bowie’s previously unreleased live performance of “Can’t Help Thinking About Me” is finally here for fans to enjoy. The performance was provided to hint its presence in the singer’s upcoming Toy album.

The song can be traced back in the 60s, as it is among the 3 singles released under Bowie’s now defunct band David Bowie with the Lower Third. The singer brought it back to life in the 90s after its appearance on VH1 Storytellers, and also revived its mainstream popularity as a part of his setlist during his Hours tour.

The live video was recorded on Oct. 14, 1999, at the Elysée Montmartre in Paris. Weeks later, the singer would perform the song again, this time, on BBC Radio 1 show at London’s Maida Vale Studios. The latter BBC version also appears on the new vinyl single alongside its re-recorded studio version.

Bowie’s upcoming Toy album back in 2001 didn’t make it to the public before; this time, Parlophone and ISO records are more than happy to share it for everyone to hear. The album was a conglomeration of Bowie’s earliest recordings, and is set to be launched next year in January.
