In the US, Springsteen also enjoyed the top spot on the Billboard 200’s Albums Chart, Top Rock Albums chart, and the Vinyl Albums and Tastemaker Albums charts.

Springsteen recorded “Letter To You” with longtime collaborators, the E Street Band, in the span of five days last year at his home studio. The new album also comes with nine recent compositions and revamped recordings of three previously unreleased classics from the ’70s: “Janey Needs A Shooter”, “If I was The Priest”, and “Song For The Orphans”.

The recording sessions were well documented in a feature-length film titled “Bruce Springsteen’s Letter To You”, and was released by Apple Original Films and was premiered on Apple TV+ along with the album release on October 23.

Director Thom Zimny takes the helm for the documentary, which features full performances of the E Street Band along with in-studio footage and rare archival material.
