A Fitting Tribute For A Late Legend

The long awaited Freddie Mercury biopic ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ debuted in theaters all the way back in early November, but it still honestly feels like yesterday that we were all seeing this brilliant movie. It was a project that was almost 10 years in the making and ended up being the most beautiful way to honor him.

Since this movie premiered all things Freddie Mercury/Queen related have been in the headlines constantly in the world of classic rock.

More and more each day, Freddie is being commemorated in different ways. And here is the most recent example…

Tom MacKenzie, renowned sculptor and artist, recently made the stunning Freddie Mercury sculpture that you’re seeing is one that will take its place in the above mentioned Queen Studio Experience exhibition in Montreux.

As you can see the sculpture is a complete work of art and is a piece that Freddie himself would absolutely love to pieces. After all, it’s got the seal of approval from Brian May, so there you go…

There are a couple of things exciting about this. One is that if you’re in Montreux and you get an opportunity to visit this exhibition then you’ll get to see this in person, but also, at this rate, there will be more and more cool things being made in honor of Freddie Mercury.

So I say to the world, keep making more things in honor of Freddie, because they are awesome!
