Beatles successors and classic rock legend Badfinger are working together with renowned prog-rock keyboardist Rick Wakeman – who is best known for his time with Yes. The two rock acts are coming together to perform a special rendition of Paul McCartney’s self-written hit, “Come & Get It”.

Joey Molland of Badfinger is slowly experiencing a career rejuvenation as of late thanks to his work with people like indie rocker Matthew Sweet to Jethro Tull’s Ian Anderson. His collaborators are helping him revive some of Badfinger’s classic catalog of gems and hits.

The latest addition to these new versions is the Paul McCartney-written pop hit “Come & Get It”. Of course, he isn’t alone on this one as he is joined by the esteemed master of keys, Rick Wakeman. With the Yes icon on board, the song transforms into a vibrant melodic masterpiece, while Molland takes care of vocal duties albeit bassist Tom Evans being the original lead vocals on the 1969 version.
