His Son Jumps In On Guitar- What a Duo!

I’m not sure if there are ninjas cutting onions again but a few seconds into the song and it already moved me to tears. It’s soulful and incredibly beautiful. I’ve heard several amazing covers for this Led Zeppelin classic but somehow, this is on another level. It’s so cool watching them play, almost like you’re given a rare chance to take a peek into this father-and-son bonding. It’s an awesome jamming session and he definitely nailed that solo!

Robert Page was absolutely right when he said:

…crystallized the essence of the band. It had everything there and showed the band at its best… as a band, as a unit. Not talking about solos or anything, it had everything there. We were careful never to release it as a single. It was a milestone for us. Every musician wants to do something of lasting quality, something which will hold up for a long time and I guess we did it with “Stairway”.
